Installing T-Nuts in your rifle stock
Many commercial rifle manufactures that mass produce rifles often take shortcuts by not adding steel or aluminum threads for sling studs in their rifle stocks. Β This shortcut usually results with a single lag threaded sling stud. Β The composite or wood material where the sling stud is inserted can then strip out over time as the material is simply not durable enough as threads.
