Installing T-Nuts in your rifle stock

Installing T-Nuts in your rifle stock

Many commercial rifle manufactures that mass produce rifles often take shortcuts by not adding steel or aluminum threads for sling studs in their rifle stocks.   This shortcut usually results with a single lag threaded sling stud.  The composite or wood material where the sling stud is inserted can then strip out over time as the material is simply not durable enough as threads.

The how-to video below will quickly show you how to install steel T-Nuts in a composite rifle stock so you have durable threads.

For the hardware found in this video you can purchase our Fixed Rail Upgrade Kit (T-Nuts 10/32)
