The creation of ROKSTEDi

Craig Steele, a lifelong big game and predator hunter, spent over a decade as a professional hunting guide. In March 2017, he grew frustrated with the lack of innovation in hunting bipods. Despite having no engineering background, Craig knew precisely what he needed as a hunter. He began sketching ideas, eventually solidifying his concept. Craig then partnered with a talented product engineer who brought his sketches to life, creating working prototypes. This three-year development process revealed a need for a comprehensive system of hunting gear.

Craig founded ROKSTEDi to create a versatile and lightweight solution that minimizes the amount of gear a serious hunter has to carry into the field. Each ROKSTEDi product is born from the practical needs of a dedicated hunter, not from a marketing strategy. In September 2020, Craig joined forces with engineer and machinist Josh Riesland. Josh’s engineering expertise combined with Craig’s hunting and marketing experience forms the foundation of ROKSTEDi's commitment to building high-quality, functional hunting gear in the USA, specifically designed for the serious hunter. 🇺🇸
