With 30.25 inches of vertical travel & coming in at just 17.8 ounces, it is the most versatile stable big man's hunting bipod on the market.

When ordering the p242 I was a bit skeptical about the price and if the quality was going to be there or not. This by far out performs my swagger QD42 bipod. The rockstedi is also way more versatile. It’s light, super sturdy and the ball head is strong that I thought it would be! If you can afford this bipod you won’t regret it.

The p242 has everything a serious daytime coyote hunter needs. From laying prone to a steep side hill you can always be comfortable.

The P242 is awesome...it's range of function is impressive. It is well built and very light weight exactly what my hunting rig needed. The only draw back would be if you have a gun over 12 pounds this might be a bit to thin....but that thin weight reducing design is spot on for my hunting needs. I will be buying another!
I don't do gear reviews ever this is my first....if you hunt and cover ground and encounter a variety of terrain and vegetation buy this...you won't regret it!
This bipod has been great! I am 6'7" and have used a lot of different bipods and have only found 2 that have really worked for me. This one is much sturdier than my other one and is much better for longer shots. I hunt coyotes 50-70 days a year and this thing works in every situation I can put it in. I can use it while sitting on a stool in flat country or on steep hill sides and still move it easily and quickly to get my shot off. The pan feature is unmatched in the industry. I can lay down with it too if I need to unlike some of the other bipods I have that were too tall to lay down with or not steady enough. This checks all the boxes.
